Picking robot technology for greenhouse fruit crops

21 July 2020 @ 11:00 - 13:00

During this first edition of Studio RoboCrops, you will learn first-hand the key challenges identified by growers of cucumber, sweet peppers, eggplants and soft fruit, concerning the automation of their harvesting process.

Which developers are currently working on commercial robots for a range of crops? What are specific challenges for different crops on the path towards a commercially viable robot? For example, which innovations are being developed to identify which cucumbers to harvest, or how to pick soft fruit in a gentle way? In this first edition, companies will pitch their company and technology and we will get a perspective from growers and sector experts on this topic.
