The Robocrops platform facilitates a global community of advanced greenhouse growers and high-tech companies, collaborating on solutions to lead the horticultural industry into a new era.
Scarcity of resources such as skilled labour, water and energy is pushing the greenhouse community to minimize its dependence on these resources. New, fit-for-purpose high-tech solutions are key to relieving this dependence and to secure sufficient food supply to the ever-growing world population.
RoboCrops was initiated in the Netherlands, home to the most advanced horticulture community in the world, to accelerate the development of robotics in greenhouse horticulture with matchmaking, knowledge sharing and events.
Join us on November 24 and 25 for our 2021 event for greenhouse robotics at the World Horti Center in the Netherlands. More info will be available soon.
Sensors with which the robot observes the environment
Processing the data from sensors, often using Artificial Intelligence / Augmented Reality
Performing an action, such as cutting leaves or picking vegetables or cut flowers
Covid19 relentlessly demonstrated the vulnerabilities of our food system’s dependence on manual labour. The urgency for harvesting automation is more apparent now than ever.
That is why we are introducing Studio RoboCrops. A digital event where the harvesting automation community can make progress in a virtual setting, by matching greenhouse automation businesses from around the world to Dutch agriculture pioneers, investors, analysts and more.
